Kent made an offer on a house just around the corner from where I live. It was accepted! I may be moving in with him within the next couple of months!! I may be helping to make a house payment!! Wow.

It's a beautiful house. It needs to be repainted, though. Right now it's an electric blue color, but the inside is absolutely beautiful. It's an old Victorian home with gorgeous hardwood floors, lovely french doors, beautiful woodwork and the original cabinetry in the kitchen. It is advertised as having four bedrooms, but really only has three with a nursery/office off what we would use as the master bedroom.

Of course, there is a small chance that something could fall through. He has been pre-approved for this loan based on his current income, so if he doesn't get everything completed by the 19th of December, he he wouldn't be able to proceed because the bank probably woudln't approve him based on his new income. Because of that, I am trying to keep myself from getting overly excited. I really want it to work for us, but I don't want to get my hopes up only to have them dashed at the last minute.

It would be so sweet, though. We'd have a real home together. One that we would be paying on together, fixing up together, settling into together. This makes me happier than I ever thought possible. The fact that he is putting so much on the line to make a future for us blows me away. Although he's doing it there are moments I still can't believe he really wants to do this with me. He really is a wonderful man. God has given me an incredible gift.
